On the 24th November 2016 the Department of Human Settlements hosted the 10th Govan Mbeki Awards at the Chief Albert Luthuli ICC, Durban.
The NHBRC was one of the Sponsors in ensuring that the event is a success and that the brand is out there.
The following was sponsored by the NHBRC:
- Five (5) Gift vouchers worth R20 000.00 each
Also hosted three (3) tables of seating ten persons from the provinces and the Head Offices.
The event was attended by the Council Members and other distinguished guests.
The NHBRC paid for media coverage as well as live streaming the gala awards.
On the 25th November the NHBRC also sponsored a 4-ball golf at the Mt. Edgecombe Country Club; where all the entities and construction companies played golf in supporting an identified Charity of Choice.
Our Executive Chairman, Mr Abbey Chikane represented the organisation by presenting the Subsidy Housing Award.
