This week the National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) Members of Council paid a visit to three building projects in Nelspruit as part of their experiential visits to provinces.

The projects visited included an innovative building technology project in Sonheuwel (Kiaat Estate) as well as two other non-subsidy projects in the area.

Moore Blignaut Investments contractor Zane Blignaut whose projects was visited welcomed the Council’s visit and said this shows that the NHBRC is interested in the work that is being done on the ground.

“This innovative building project is one of the few in the province and I am glad to see the NHBRC coming to interact with us as it also gives our clients confidence in our work when they see the regulator paying attention to such projects” added Blignaut.

The Council was represented by Segogwane Kotane, Phetola Makgathe, Hlaleleni Dlepu and Lulama Potwana who also engaged with NHBRC employees about their plans for the organisation and further encouraged them to maintain highest standards of customer service and home inspections.

NHBRC Executive of Business Services Thitinti Moshoeu said it was important for the council members to visit the province so they can see and engage with the stakeholders on the ground.
