Check if your Home is Enrolled with NHBRC
The information on the register is updated daily over night.
Section 14 of the Act requires that all new homes must be enrolled with the NHBRC fifteen (15) days prior to construction. On enrolment, the Home Builder receives an enrolment certificate upon payment of an enrolment fee. The enrolment certificate entitles the home owner to a warranty cover
To check that your home is enrolled with the NHBRC, choose any one of the following methods:
Provide the erf number and township   Tip: Just enter a few letters that are in the Township's name, e.g le will give you all the names containg the letters le in the name., such as Birchleigh, Alexander etc
OR
Provide the registration number of the builder
OR
Provide the Trading name/Company name/Surname of the Builder:   Tip: Just enter a few letters that are in the builder's name, e.g ba will give you all the names containg the letters ba in the name., such as Bains, Mkhaba etc
