Disclaimer for IBT

It is important to note that the NHBRC only provides general guidance on the implementation of IBTs and condition of IBTs (Database) and does not guarantee that following the guidelines or making IBT selections from the IBT Database will be sufficient to ensure successful projects are carried out owing to other external factors that also contribute to its success.

Patent and latent defects can occur as a result of many factors such as poor contract management, design errors by professionals, a manufacturing flaw, defective materials, improper use of installation of materials, not conforming to the design by the contractor, not adhering to quality management requirements, or any combination of the above.

NHBRC reserves the right, in a sole and absolute discretion, to withdraw, alter and/or amend contents and make changes to guidelines or the IBT Database without notification.
